dEd protocol

The ‘distributed education’ protocol is a collection of tools and resources that have been made freely available for individual learners, learning groups, and educators of all types. With these tools, learners or educators have the building blocks to create a robust and sophisticated self-directed learning program.

Understanding the System

The ded protocol operates by utilizing a Notion template, which serves as the foundation for organizing and managing your learning journey. Additionally, it integrates with a Discord Bot, which enhances user interaction through modal interfaces.
The system is built around two key databases: the quest journal and the resource directory. The quest journal is where you can document and reflect on your learning experiences, milestones, and achievements. It acts as a personal log, enabling you to track and monitor your progress as you develop new knowledge, skills and abilities.
The resource directory serves as a centralized hub for all the valuable resources you come across during your learning quests. This includes books, articles, videos, courses, tools, bookmarks, and more. By curating and organizing these resources, you can easily access and refer back to them whenever needed.
